Personal Data Security

In carrying out its activities, SOLIVE uses a set of security technologies and procedures that are suitable for protecting your personal data, protecting it from unauthorised access or disclosure, preventing its loss, misuse, alteration or destruction, and guaranteeing its integrity, availability and confidentiality.

We are committed to guaranteeing the confidentiality of our users' data, to which end we have employed the appropriate security measures to ensure that it is not accessed by unauthorised persons. We subject our systems to regular security analyses to ensure that your data is protected and secure.

However, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure, so we cannot absolutely guarantee the security of information transmitted via our website.

Access and Control of your Personal Data

SOLIVE guarantees you the right to access data that directly concerns you, and you may request its rectification, portability (if technically possible), erasure, restriction of processing or the right to object to its processing. To do so, simply contact us at geral@solive.pt or send us a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to Rua Castilho, n.º 13D, piso 9, 1250-066 Lisbon.

Your rights as a user:

  • Right of Access: The user, as data subject, has the right to obtain confirmation from the data controller, SOLIVE, as to which data is or is not being processed, as well as the right to access this and the following information:
    - The purposes of the processing;
    - The categories of personal data concerned;
    - The recipients to whom the data has been or will be disclosed;
    - If possible, the time limits laid down for the retention of the data, or the criteria for setting these time limits;
    - The right to request rectification, erasure, restriction or opposition to processing;
    - The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority;
    - The existence of autonomised decisions, including the definition of profiles;
    - If the data has not been collected from the data subject, information on its origin;
    - Guarantees regarding the transfer of data to third countries or international organisations.
  • Right to Rectification: The data subject has the right to obtain, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them, as well as the right to request that incomplete data be rectified.
  • Right to erasure of data: The data subject has the right to request the erasure of his or her personal data without undue delay when:
    - The data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or processed;
    - You withdraw the consent on which the processing is based, and there is no other legal basis for the processing;
    - If you object to the processing under the terms of the Regulation.
  • Right to restriction of processing: The data subject has the right to obtain from the controller the restriction of processing, applying, among others, one of the following situations:
    - Having contested the accuracy of the data for the period necessary to verify its accuracy;
    - If the data controller no longer needs the data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by the data subject for the purposes of declaring, exercising or defending a right in legal proceedings;
    - When there is opposition to the processing, until it is established that the legitimate grounds of the controller prevail over those of the data subject.
  • Right to data portability: If the processing is based on consent, the data subject has the right to receive the data that has been communicated in a commonly used and machine-readable digital format, or to request that it be transmitted directly to another entity that becomes the new data controller. The provisions of the GDPR regarding the right to erasure apply without prejudice to this right.
  • Right to object and automated decisions: The data subject may object to the processing of their data in the specific cases set out in the Regulation, when they demonstrate that their particular situation should be relevant in the exercise of public interest functions, public authority or legitimate interests, including profiling based on the provisions relating to these. The data subject also has the right to object to data processing that includes profiling for the purposes of direct marketing, and personal data should no longer be processed for this purpose. The data subject has the right not to be subject to any decision taken solely on the basis of automated processing, including profiling, which produces effects in his or her legal sphere or significantly affects him or her, except where it is necessary for the performance of a contract, is based on his or her explicit consent or is authorised by European or national law.
  • Right to lodge a complaint: The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or place where the offence is alleged to have taken place, if they consider that the processing of personal data concerning them is in breach of the General Data Protection Regulation.
  • Right to withdraw your consent: Since data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, although this right does not jeopardise the lawfulness of processing previously carried out on the basis of that same consent.

Personal Data Archiving

Your personal data will be kept by SOLIVE for the period necessary for processing, in accordance with the respective purpose.
Retention periods may change when the associated public interest, historical, scientific or statistical reasons justify it, and SOLIVE undertakes to adopt appropriate conservation and security measures.

Third Parties

Marketing, SOLIVE and its corporate group may have to resort to third parties who may have access, if necessary and for the contractualised purposes, to users' personal data.

In this case, SOLIVE endeavours to ensure that these entities are credible and offer guarantees of data protection, without, however, absolving itself of responsibility for the personal data provided.

Data may be transferred to third countries, i.e. outside the European Union, however, if this occurs, SOLIVE, as data controller, guarantees that the recipient organisations provide the necessary guarantees for the enjoyment of all users' rights.
